Lili and Lilu, are titled after the names of early Sumerian and Akkadian demons predating Lilit. Lili and Lilu are placed in dialogue with one another, appearing like living, colorful breathing creatures, the sculptures move in concert with the air within and surrounding their forms. Visitors are encouraged to touch the work and connect to a somatic sensation.
